The A7V Sturmpanzerwagen was Germany's sole tank of the First World War — a towering, fortress-like vehicle designed by Krupp that mounted a 57mm gun and six machine guns and required a crew of 18 to operate. Its Daimler engine was a critical component of a vehicle already notable for its mechanical complexity, and this limited edition release of Meng's acclaimed 1/35 A7V adds a highly detailed engine module to the standard kit — allowing modellers to display the vehicle with its engine compartment exposed, revealing the mechanical heart of history's rarest operational tank. With only around 20 A7Vs ever completed, this remains one of the most unusual and historically significant subjects in 1/35 armour modelling.
