The jerry can — originally the German Wehrmacht's Einheitskanister — was arguably the single most practical logistical innovation of the Second World War, and one that the Allies were slow to adopt before recognising its superiority and copying it wholesale. Robust, stackable, easy to handle, and with a three-handle design that allowed two men to carry four cans at once, the jerry can became the universal fuel and water container of Allied forces from 1942 onwards, appearing in every theatre from the Western Desert to the Pacific. MiniArt's set provides Allied jerry cans in accurate 1/35 scale — the detail that makes a vehicle park, supply depot, or roadside fuel stop feel operationally authentic rather than theatrically empty.
