The Willys Jeep was the universal vehicle of the Second World War's Allied armies, but in British service it took on a particular character — used by airborne forces, special operations, reconnaissance units, and liaison officers across every theatre from the Western Desert to North-West Europe. British jeep crews operated with a degree of informality that reflected the vehicle's versatility: no fixed crew, improvised mountings for Vickers K guns or Bren guns, and a mixture of uniforms and personal kit that accumulated from campaigns in multiple theatres. MiniArt's Special Edition set captures British jeep crew in the working dress of North-West Europe 1944–45 — berets, denison smocks, and windproof anoraks — alongside the personal weapons and equipment that these crews carried.
Going anywhere, doing anything — British jeep crew in 1/35 scale.
