The MG 151/20 was one of the Luftwaffe's most effective aircraft cannon — a 20mm weapon originally designed for fighter installation that found a second life as an improvised anti-aircraft platform as Allied air superiority over the Eastern Front grew from 1943 onwards. Mounting three of them in a Drillingslafette (triple mounting) on a trailer towed by a tractor created a mobile, low-altitude air defence system that could be positioned wherever the threat was greatest. MiniArt's kit captures this unusual combination — the agricultural tractor as the unlikely motive power of a front-line air defence system — in 1/35 scale with the full engineering detail of both vehicle and weapon system, a genuinely rare and operationally significant subject.
