Operation Market Garden — September 1944 — was the Allies' ambitious attempt to end the war by Christmas: a massive airborne assault into the Netherlands to seize a series of bridges culminating at Arnhem, followed by a ground thrust to outflank the Siegfried Line. For the Allied soldiers on the ground, it meant fighting through Dutch towns and countryside in often chaotic conditions, supported by a civilian population that had endured four years of German occupation. MiniArt's set captures Allied figures in the distinctive uniforms of the Market Garden period, with resin heads providing an exceptional level of facial detail and character that elevates this beyond a standard plastic figure set.
