Mirage Hobby 1/35 Armoured Car wz.34/II Polish & German Ver. (355020)

The wz. 34 was Poland's standard armoured car of the interwar period — a robust, four-wheeled vehicle developed in the early 1930s and produced in two main variants distinguished by their turret armament. The wz. 34/II mounted a 37mm gun in place of the machine gun of the /I version, giving it a meaningful anti-tank capability for its era. Polish armoured car units fought these vehicles with considerable skill during the September 1939 campaign against the German invasion, conducting rear-guard actions and counter-attacks that belied the hopeless strategic situation. Captured vehicles were subsequently pressed into Wehrmacht service, where they were used for occupation duties and anti-partisan operations — making Mirage Hobby's dual Polish/German marking options historically appropriate and giving modellers two distinct and compelling build scenarios in a single box.
