Revell 1/144 MiL Mi 24F (No Decals) (04013)

The Mil Mi-24 Hind is the Soviet Union’s most iconic combat helicopter — a heavily armoured gunship and assault transport that combines the firepower of a dedicated attack helicopter with the ability to carry up to eight fully equipped troops. Entering service in 1972, the Mi-24 saw its first major combat in Afghanistan from 1979 onwards, where its combination of speed, armour, and firepower initially gave Soviet forces a significant advantage. The F variant was a US designation for specific export versions of the Mi-24; the type has served with over 50 air forces worldwide and remains in frontline service with Russia and numerous other operators. At 1/144 scale the Mi-24 is a compact but characterful build — the tandem cockpit, stub wings, and retractable undercarriage all translate well even at small scale. Note: decals are missing from this copy — replacement decals may be available from aftermarket suppliers.
