The Supermarine Spitfire Mk V was the RAF’s principal frontline fighter from 1941 through to 1943, serving in every theatre from the Western Desert to Malta and the Channel Front — and produced in greater numbers than any other Spitfire variant, with over 6,400 built. This Daily Telegraph limited edition was issued as a commemorative run of 15,000 kits, numbered individually, making it a genuine collector’s item as well as a practical build. The presentation combines Revell’s mainstream Spitfire tooling with special packaging that acknowledges the aircraft’s place in British national memory. A natural choice for both modellers and Spitfire enthusiasts who appreciate the heritage dimension.
