RS Models’ 1/72 scale Blohm & Voss Ae 607 model kit explores an unconventional German jet-fighter design from the closing stages of the Second World War. Kit 92246 offers a distinctive subject for modellers interested in flying wings, unbuilt aircraft projects and alternative-history aviation.
The Ae 607 concept combined a swept flying-wing layout with a proposed single jet engine and an offset cockpit alongside the intake duct. It remained a design study rather than a completed, flying aircraft. This model therefore offers an opportunity to imagine how the unusual proposal might have appeared in service, rather than recreate an operational wartime machine.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Unless otherwise stated these models will need some construction and painting. Glues and paints are not included.
