RS Models’ 1/72 scale Dornier Do-22 model kit recreates a lesser-known aircraft from the Second World War. Kit 92244 offers an interesting subject for modellers exploring Dornier’s designs beyond its better-known bombers, or building a collection of maritime reconnaissance aircraft.
Developed during the 1930s for the export market, the Do 22 was a three-seat aircraft best known in its twin-float configuration. The type served with Yugoslavia, Greece and Finland during the war. Its parasol-wing layout and maritime role give it a distinctive place among contemporary military aircraft, making it an appealing alternative to more familiar fighter and bomber subjects.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Unless otherwise stated these models will need some construction and painting. Glues and paints are not included.
