The Universal Carrier in European Campaign configuration covers the Bren Carrier as used in Northwest Europe from D-Day to the Rhine — the detail changes of late-production vehicles, specific markings options from British and Commonwealth units, and the equipment fits typical of the 1944–45 campaign. Every British infantry battalion had a carrier platoon, and the versatility of the vehicle meant that no two were ever quite identically equipped, offering the builder considerable scope for personalisation. Tamiya's kit covers this variant with markings for multiple units of 21st Army Group.
