The Churchill Crocodile was the most feared Allied armoured vehicle of the Normandy campaign — a Churchill Mk. VII modified to carry a flame projector in place of the hull machine gun, fed from an armoured trailer towed behind the tank. Capable of projecting flame to 120 yards, the Crocodile was devastatingly effective against fortifications, and German troops regularly surrendered specifically to avoid being engaged by it. The kit also builds as the standard Churchill Mk. VII, the most heavily armoured variant of the Churchill series with up to 152mm of frontal armour.
