The Matilda II was a British infantry tank whose heavy armour made it a formidable sight in the early years of the Second World War. It became particularly associated with the fighting in North Africa, where its protection initially posed a serious challenge to opposing anti-tank weapons. Tamiya’s 1/48 Matilda Mk.III/IV, British Infantry Tank Mk.IIA* (32572), offers a classic British armour subject for a desert-campaign display or diorama.
Recreate one of the best-known British infantry tanks in compact 1/48 scale.
