The Fairey Gannet is a distinctive post-war Fleet Air Arm aircraft, with a broad carrier-aircraft stance and contra-rotating propellers that make it instantly recognisable. The T.Mk.2 was the training version, making this a different subject from the better-known anti-submarine Gannet variants.
