The BA-6 was one of the most widely used Soviet medium armoured cars of the 1930s, armed with a 45mm gun and serving in Spain, the Far East, Finland, and in the opening battles of Barbarossa. The 1/48 scale makes this an ideal diorama companion for Soviet aircraft models — BA-6 armoured cars frequently provided security and point defence at Soviet airfields, and their distinctive angular silhouette adds visual interest to any Red Army scene. UM Models’ 1/48 kit captures the BA-6 in the scale that works so well alongside 1/48 aircraft and figure sets.
