The D-15 was a Soviet experimental self-propelled gun of the Second World War period — part of the extensive Soviet programme of armoured vehicle development that ran in parallel with the main production lines of the SU-76, SU-85, and SU-100. Soviet armoured vehicle experimentation during the war produced numerous prototype and limited-production vehicles that represent unusual and rewarding modelling subjects for those interested in the lesser-known corners of Red Army armour. UM Models’ 1/72 kit captures this Soviet experimental SPG in compact small-scale form.
