The Lear Fan 2100 was an ambitious early 1980s project by Bill Lear — an all-composite, T-tailed executive aircraft with two turboshaft engines driving a single pusher propeller. It flew in 1981 but failed to achieve certification before the company ran out of funds. Amodel's 1/72 kit captures this intriguing near-production design with authentic civil markings. A fascinating piece of what-might-have-been aviation history for collectors of experimental and prototype civil aircraft.
