The Yakovlev Yak-55M was the refined production version of the Yak-55 aerobatic aircraft, developed in the 1980s for Soviet and Eastern Bloc competition aerobatics. It achieved notable success in world aerobatic championships with its powerful engine and exceptional roll rate. Amodel's 1/72 kit captures the clean single-seat airframe and distinctive tail surfaces with authentic Soviet sport aviation markings. A neat subject for collectors of aerobatic and Soviet light aircraft.
