The Yak-18P was a single-seat aerobatic development of the Yak-18 trainer family, purpose-built for competition aerobatics in the 1960s. Soviet pilots flew it to considerable success in international aerobatic championships. Amodel's 1/72 kit captures the Yak-18P's clean single-seat airframe with authentic Soviet sport aviation markings. A neat companion to the Yak-55M for aerobatic aircraft collectors.
