The 30.5cm Mörser “Bär” was a German self-propelled siege artillery project of the early war years, mounting the same 30.5cm howitzer used in the Karl-Gerät on a tracked self-propelled carriage. Only a prototype was completed. Amusing Hobby's 1/35 kit captures this rarely-modelled weapon in its prototype configuration — a genuinely obscure piece of German heavy artillery development for collectors who enjoy going beyond the standard Tiger and Panther subjects.
