The Aichi M6A1 Seiran was one of the most extraordinary aircraft of the Second World War — a floatplane bomber designed to be launched from the giant I-400 class submarines, attack targets deep inside enemy territory, and then ditch in the sea. The Seiran was en route to attack the Panama Canal when Japan surrendered. Aoshima's 1/72 kit captures this remarkable aircraft complete with float gear and authentic IJN markings. An essential subject for collectors of unusual and significant Japanese aviation.
