The P-51B and C were the first Merlin-powered Mustangs to reach USAAF operational units in quantity, entering service with the 8th Air Force in England in late 1943 and immediately demonstrating their ability to escort bombers all the way to Berlin and back. Arma Hobby's 1/72 kit covers both the B (Dallas-built) and C (Inglewood-built) variants with extensive decal options for multiple USAAF and RAF squadrons. The essential early Merlin Mustang kit.
