The Yak-1b was a refined development of the original Yak-1, introduced in 1942 with a cut-down rear fuselage, all-round vision canopy, and improved cockpit equipment — addressing the most significant criticisms of the earlier model. It formed the basis of the subsequent Yak-7 and Yak-9 family. Arma Hobby's 1/72 kit captures the Yak-1b's revised canopy and authentic VVS markings. An important and often overlooked Soviet fighter variant.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Unless otherwise stated these models will need some construction and painting. Glues and paints are not included.
