Avis’s 1/72 Edgley EA-7 Optica Police brings a distinctive subject to the modelling bench. This unassembled plastic model kit is identified by manufacturer reference BX 72046.
About the subject
The Optica was designed around the needs of observation flying, placing its crew in a broad glazed cabin ahead of a ducted propeller. Twin tail booms complete one of the most recognisable outlines in light aviation. This police-themed release is a distinctive alternative to the helicopters usually associated with aerial surveillance.
Building your collection
Add this subject to a civil-aviation display, where its outline and role can be compared with other passenger, touring or utility aircraft in the same scale.
