The Bf 109A was the first truly operational Bf 109 variant, deployed to Spain with the Condor Legion in 1937 where it gained its initial combat experience against Republican fighters. AZmodel's 1/72 kit captures the Anton in Condor Legion markings — the earliest chapter in the Bf 109's long operational history. An essential starting point for collectors building the complete Bf 109 variant sequence.
