The Bf 109B “Berta” was the first production variant of the type, combat-tested by the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War where it proved decisively superior to Republican opposition. AZmodel's 1/72 kit captures the B-series in its Spanish Civil War configuration with authentic Condor Legion markings. A historically significant subject representing the opening chapter of the Bf 109 story.
