The Bf 109E-3 was the main production Emil variant during the Phoney War period of 1939–40, seeing action over Poland and the Western Front in the early months of the conflict. AZmodel's 1/72 kit captures the E-3 in its pre-Battle of Britain configuration with early-war Luftwaffe markings and splinter camouflage schemes. A historically specific and attractive early-war subject.
