JG 5 Eismeer (Ice Sea Fighter Wing) operated over the Arctic Front in Norway and Finland, defending Axis positions against Soviet and Allied forces in some of the most demanding operational conditions of the war. The Bf 109F-4 was the wing's primary mount during this period. AZmodel's 1/72 kit captures the F-4 in JG 5's distinctive Arctic camouflage and unit markings. An atmospheric and less commonly covered operational theatre.
