Explore the Mustang beyond its familiar US service with AZmodel’s 1/72 P-51B Mustang “Foreign” boxing. It offers a different theme for a Mustang collection and a useful subject for modellers interested in the aircraft’s international story.
About the aircraft
The P-51B combined the Mustang airframe with a Merlin engine and retained the distinctive high-backed fuselage of the early Merlin-powered variants. The Mustang family became famous for long-range fighter operations, but its story also extends to operators outside the United States.
A place in your collection
This subject is a good companion to US-service Mustang models, helping build a collection around the different uses of the same aircraft family.
