Eastern Express's 1/72 Fairey Swordfish Mk.1 (kit 72270) depicts the Fleet Air Arm's legendary torpedo bomber biplane, which despite its archaic appearance sank more Axis shipping than any other Allied aircraft type. The Swordfish was responsible for crippling the Bismarck's steering gear and the destruction of the Italian fleet at Taranto in 1940. Decals for FAA squadron markings included.
The box shows signs of storage. There is rubbing and some dishing of the lid. Sprues are complete. Instructions and decals are present.
