Eduard's 1/48 Avia S-199 Bubble Canopy Hybrid Brassin Edition (kit 948012) depicts the bubble-canopy equipped variant of the Czech-built Bf 109 derivative, most associated with Israeli Air Force service during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The bubble canopy S-199 offered improved pilot visibility over the Erla Haube variant. Hybrid Brassin Edition combines injection moulding with resin Brassin detail parts for enhanced cockpit and engine bay detail.
