This ForeArt 1/35 kit (5002) depicts the M142 HIMARS in its launcher configuration, with the option to build either the M270 ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) variant for long-range ballistic strikes or the GMLRS (Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System) variant for precision rocket fire. The larger 1/35 scale allows exceptional detail on the cab interior, launcher pod, and chassis, making it an ideal subject for a detailed build or diorama. HIMARS has seen high-profile operational use in Ukraine from 2022, bringing this once-niche subject firmly into the mainstream modelling spotlight.
