The M109 Paladin has been the US Army's primary self-propelled artillery piece since the 1960s, and the A7 variant — also known as the M109A7 or PIM (Paladin Integrated Management) — is the most capable version yet, incorporating Bradley IFV components for improved logistics, a new powerpack, and enhanced digital fire control. The Paladin has seen combat in Vietnam, the Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and continues to serve with numerous NATO and allied armies. This ForeArt 1/72 kit (2002) captures the M109A7's distinctive long-barrelled 155mm howitzer and updated hull.
