The Blackburn Shark was a British carrier-borne torpedo bomber and reconnaissance biplane that served with the Fleet Air Arm and the Royal Canadian Air Force in the mid-1930s. Powered by a single Armstrong Siddeley Tiger radial engine, it replaced the Hawker Osprey and itself gave way to the Swordfish. Though short-lived in front-line service, it represents an important link in the chain of interwar naval aviation. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F179) is presented in the distinctive red boxing associated with Frog's classic series releases.
This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
