The Hawker Hurricane was the RAF's most numerous fighter during the Battle of Britain in 1940, accounting for more enemy aircraft destroyed than all other defences combined. Designed by Sydney Camm and entering service in 1937, its rugged fabric-and-metal construction proved both tough and easy to repair. The Hurricane went on to serve in every theatre of the war, as a fighter, tank-buster, and naval aircraft. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F188) captures the Hurricane's iconic elliptical wings and distinctive hump-backed fuselage in classic mid-century moulding.
This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
