The Hawker Sea Hawk was the Royal Navy's first operational jet fighter, entering Fleet Air Arm service in 1953. Developed from the earlier P.1040 prototype, it combined a centrifugal-flow Rolls-Royce Nene engine with a distinctive bifurcated jet pipe exhausting through the wing roots — a unique arrangement that freed the rear fuselage for fuel. The Sea Hawk saw its most significant combat action during the 1956 Suez Crisis, flying ground-attack sorties from HMS Eagle, Albion, and Bulwark. It also served with the Indian Navy well into the 1970s. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F328) captures the Sea Hawk's clean, elegant lines.

This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
