The Westland Lynx entered service with the British Army and Royal Navy in 1977 and went on to become one of the most capable and widely exported military helicopters of the Cold War era. In 1986, a specially modified Lynx set a world helicopter speed record of 249.09 mph that stood for over three decades. The naval HAS variants served aboard frigates and destroyers, providing anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare capability, while the Army AH versions carried TOW missiles for the anti-tank role. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F256) captures the Lynx's compact, purposeful design. Presented in film-sealed packaging.
This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
