The Martin B-26 Marauder had a troubled start — early models had such a high wing loading that crews nicknamed it the "Widowmaker" — but once crews were properly trained, it became one of the most accurate medium bombers of World War II, finishing the war with the lowest loss rate of any US aircraft in the European Theatre. The Mk II was the RAF and SAAF designation for the B-26B/C variant, used extensively by Commonwealth forces in North Africa and the Mediterranean. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F338) captures the Marauder's distinctive torpedo-like fuselage and high-mounted wing.
This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
