The Vultee Vengeance was an American-designed dive bomber ordered by the British and French governments before the US entered the war. Though largely overlooked in European accounts, it served with considerable success with the RAF in the Burma campaign from 1942 to 1944, flying thousands of sorties against Japanese positions in difficult jungle terrain. The Mk II was the principal British version, powered by a Wright Cyclone engine. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F199) represents one of the few scale models produced of this underappreciated Allied aircraft.
This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
