Frog 1/72 Westland Wessex 1 (Missing Flight Stand) (F335)

The Westland Wessex was a licence-built development of the Sikorsky S-58, re-engined with a British Napier Gazelle turboshaft for the Royal Navy's anti-submarine role and later with twin Gnome turboshafts for the RAF. The Wessex HAS.1 entered Fleet Air Arm service in 1961 as a dipping-sonar submarine hunter; later marks served in the commando assault, troop transport, and search-and-rescue roles with both the Navy and RAF well into the 1980s. This vintage Frog 1/72 kit (F335) captures the Wessex's practical, workmanlike profile.
This is a vintage model kit. Box shows signs of age-related storage — see photos. Other than the flight stand base, kit appears complete, but please look at the photos carefully. Instructions and decals are present.
