The FV103 Spartan is a compact six-wheeled CVR(T) armoured personnel carrier that has seen widespread export service, and since 2022 a number have been supplied to Ukraine where they have been modified with improvised heavy machine gun turrets for the close-combat conditions of the Russo-Ukrainian War. This Gecko Models 1/35 kit (35GM0056) depicts the Ukrainian-operated Spartan with its HMG gun turret fitting, providing authentic markings and configuration for one of the most distinctive British-origin vehicles serving in the current conflict. A companion to the Extra Armoured Gun Turret version (35GM0052).
