The 30cwt (30 hundredweight) general service truck was a mainstay of British Army logistics throughout World War II, used for everything from ammunition and ration supply to troop movement and signals work. The closed cab version provided better weather protection for drivers on the long supply routes of NW Europe and Italy. This Gecko Models 1/35 kit (35GM0072) captures the workhorse character of this often-overlooked vehicle that kept the British Army moving, and offers excellent weathering and marking options for unit-specific builds.
