The Bedford MWD was the British Army's standard 15-cwt (15 hundredweight) light truck of World War II — a smaller and more agile companion to the larger OYD and OXD. Used for everything from signals and ammunition resupply to unit transport and forward area logistics, the MWD served in every theatre from the Western Desert to NW Europe. The closed cab version provided better driver protection in the colder NW European climate. This Gecko Models 1/35 kit (35GM0027) captures the MWD with accurate proportions and authentic markings options.
