The FV103 Spartan with Odin turret is a modern British upgrade configuration, fitting the compact Odin remote weapon station — armed with a 7.62mm chain gun and co-axial machine gun — to the existing Spartan hull. This provides significantly enhanced firepower and crew protection compared to the standard ring-mounted GPMG fit. The Spartan remains in service with UK Special Forces and specialist units, and the Odin turret keeps it relevant for current operations. This Gecko Models 1/35 kit (35GM0057) is a contemporary British AFV subject with strong diorama potential.
