The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet transformed US Navy carrier aviation when it entered service in the early 1980s, combining the fighter and attack roles into a single airframe for the first time and giving carrier air wings a genuinely multirole capability that replaced both the F-4 Phantom and A-7 Corsair. The F/A-18A was the original single-seat variant, serving with distinction in Desert Storm and countless other operations from the decks of US Navy carriers. This Hasegawa 1/72 kit includes a pre-painted canopy as a handy bonus, and captures the Hornet's distinctive twin-tailed, twin-engined profile with authentic USN markings options.

This kit is from our Preloved Collection. The box shows signs of storage with rubbing and some dishing of the lid. Sprues are factory sealed. Instructions and decals are present.
