The North American P-51D Mustang is among the most coveted modelling subjects in the hobby — a sleek, beautiful aircraft with an equally compelling combat history. As the long-range escort that accompanied Eighth Air Force B-17s and B-24s deep into Germany, the Mustang fundamentally changed the strategic bombing campaign and helped establish Allied air superiority over the Reich. The bubble canopy of the D-model gave its pilot panoramic visibility, and with six .50 calibre wing guns it was lethal in both fighter-to-fighter combat and ground attack. Hasegawa's 1/72 kit is one of the classic renditions of this iconic subject with precise panel detail and a choice of authentic USAAF markings.

This kit is from our Preloved Collection. There is rubbing on the corners of the box. Sprues are factory sealed. Instructions and decals are present.
