The Renault Estafette was a front-wheel-drive van produced from 1959 to 1980, widely used across France by businesses, public services, and emergency services including the Gendarmerie Nationale. Its distinctive forward-control cab and sliding side door made it a ubiquitous sight on French roads for two decades. This Heller 1/24 starter kit (56742) builds the Gendarmerie version and includes glue and paints, making it a complete out-of-the-box project for beginners or a nostalgic build for fans of classic French commercial vehicles.
