The Martin B-26 Marauder served with the 12th Air Force in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations from North Africa through Sicily and Italy, pounding enemy ports, marshalling yards, and airfields in support of the Allied advance up the Italian peninsula. The B and C variants were the workhorses of this campaign, operating in the olive drab and grey schemes that became synonymous with USAAF tactical aviation in the Med. Hobby 2000's 1/72 kit captures the Marauder's powerful twin-engine profile with authentic 12th AF markings and the accuracy that MTO campaign modellers demand.
An excellent addition to any Mediterranean or Italian campaign collection.
