The Boeing B-29 Superfortress was the most technologically advanced bomber of World War II, combining pressurised crew compartments, remote-controlled gun turrets, and an intercontinental range that brought the Pacific war to Japan's doorstep. It remains one of the most ambitious aircraft engineering projects ever undertaken, and its silhouette — with those distinctive circular engine nacelles and gracefully tapered fuselage — is instantly recognisable to aviation enthusiasts worldwide. Hobby 2000's 1/72 scale kit captures the B-29's imposing proportions with finely detailed mouldings and authentic decal options.
A centrepiece-worthy build for any Pacific Theatre or USAAF collection.
