"The Last Flight" is a poignant title for a kit depicting the Ju 87 G-2 in its final operational days of 1945, when the once-feared Stuka soldiered on in the anti-tank role as the Eastern Front collapsed around it. The G-2's twin 37mm cannon remained lethal to the end, and its pilots — many of them veterans of years of continuous combat — flew with the knowledge that every mission might genuinely be their last. The markings in this Hobby 2000 1/72 kit reflect those final, desperate operations, adding a layer of historical weight to what is already a compelling modelling subject. Detailed moulding and authentic late-war camouflage schemes complete the package.
